Daikin set to buy Vietnamese BMS provider

JAPAN/VIETNAM: Daikin has reached a basic agreement to acquire Anh Nguyen Trading Technical Service a leading instrumentation system integrator in Vietnam.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Anh Nguyen is a premier provider of integrated building management systems with high technical capabilities in BMS design, construction and project management.

Daikin says that the acquisition is a strategic initiative to quickly establish collaboration with the building management system, and to create new value through the integration of air conditioning and building control.

Daikin says it will capitalise on Anh Nguyen’s capabilities and customer base, which has an extensive track record of delivering products to factories and hotels, to establish a system that enables it to propose integrated air conditioning equipment and building control solutions.

Rapid economic development in Vietnam has led to increased energy consumption, and the country has made an international commitment to become carbon neutral by 2050.

The acquisition procedure is subject to approval by the relevant authorities and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.
