Daikin Launches ONE Wireless RHT Sensor for ONE+ Thermostat

Daikin announced the launch of the Daikin ONE Wireless Relative Humidity and Temperature (RHT) Sensor (DSEN-TH-BWS-A), designed for connectivity with the Daikin ONE+ smart thermostat.

From Daikin:

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Daikin ONE Wireless Relative Humidity and Temperature (RHT) Sensor (DSEN-TH-BWS-A) for connectivity to the Daikin ONE+ smart thermostat.

The RHT Sensor is a compact wireless sensor designed to measure the average temperature and humidity between the sensor and the thermostat. While the Daikin ONE Wireless RHT Sensor is not a thermostat, it delivers thermostat-like functionality by sensing temperature and humidity conditions with full control through the SkyportHome app. Homeowners can adjust comfort settings just as they would with a traditional thermostat—without needing a physical display. The Daikin ONE Wireless RHT Sensor can bring intelligent comfort control to any home with a Daikin ONE+ smart thermostat, without the complexity or cost of additional zoning and thermostats, providing a smart, economical alternative for accurate temperature and humidity detection by a single thermostat.

Installation is quick and flexible. Up to 8 Daikin ONE Wireless RHT Sensors can be connected to a single Daikin ONE+ smart thermostat. Each sensor is battery-powered, requiring no wires, and can be easily mounted in any room, within the same controlled zone, to enhance comfort and efficiency compared to having only the Daikin ONE+ smart thermostat by itself.
